Concerning Gifts to this Ministry

As we have been so led by our Sovereign, the church at Salem does not maintain a ministry checking accounts, credit cards or any other commercial banking instruments that may or may not be construed under law as minimum contact or indicia which may or may not obligate the holder of such to perform under civil law.

While it may appear in this day and age to be impossible to survive without these standard tools of commerce, only by the grace of God have we been able to pursue “our Father’s business” (Luke 2:49) using, almost exclusively, cash only.

While America rushes headlong towards a cashless society it is impossible to say how much longer it will be before the day comes when cash money will no longer be a usable means of exchange for christians. When that happens, we will continue doing what we have always done - we will trust our Mighty God to meet all our need “according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:19).

This being the case, we can only accept whatever gifts
you may be led by the Lord to offer this
ministry in the form of cash.

We understand this might be an imposition for many who would like to support this work but normally use only checks and credit cards for all their transactions. We are very sorry for that.

Still, if you feel compelled by the Spirit of God to make a gift to this ministry, we invite you to contact us by e-mail or telephone. We will proceed, individually in each instance, as the Lord directs us both according to His will and purpose.

We sincerely thank you, as you pray and consider whatever part He may direct you to have in the furtherance of this ministry - one that is dependent completely upon our Lord Jesus Christ and how He moves upon the hearts of His holy (called out) people.
